A self-guided Nampo shore excursion
Nampo-dong is Busan’s classic old downtown. Book your treatment first, then explore markets, street food and harbour views on foot.
A sample 5–6 hour plan
- Arrive : subway or taxi to Nampo Station Exit 4.
- Clinic : consultation and treatment, about 1–2 hours.
- Jagalchi Fish Market : seafood lunch by the harbour.
- BIFF Square & Gukje Market : street food and shopping.
- Yongdusan Park : Busan Tower views, then back to the ship with a buffer.
On a Saturday
Yeongdo Bridge, Korea’s only drawbridge, lifts on Saturdays at 2 p.m. for about 15 minutes, a short walk from the clinic. The clinic is open 10:00–15:00 on Saturdays, so book a morning slot.
After treatment
After lasers or injections, choose shaded routes, keep a hat on and skip spicy food or alcohol if the doctor advises. Covered market streets are a good choice on hot or rainy days.
