From the Busan cruise terminal to JRYN Nampo

Busan has two cruise piers. Here is how to reach the clinic from each one, how long it takes, and what to show your taxi driver.

Quick answer: Cruise ships in Busan berth at either the North Port Cruise Terminal beside Busan Station or the Yeongdo Cruise Terminal across the harbour. From North Port, take subway Line 1 two stops from Busan Station to Nampo Station; Exit 4 links underground to the clinic building. From Yeongdo, a taxi to Nampo-dong usually takes about 15–20 minutes.

Which terminal is your ship using?

Your cruise line confirms the berth, usually in the daily programme or port guide. North Port Cruise Terminal (Chungjang-daero 206, Dong-gu) sits in the city harbour next to Busan Station. Yeongdo Cruise Terminal (Haeyang-ro 301, Yeongdo-gu) is on Yeongdo island and handles many of the largest ships. The nearby Busan Port International Passenger Terminal is used mainly by ferries to Japan.

From North Port Cruise Terminal

Walk or take the terminal shuttle to Busan Station , then ride subway Line 1 (orange) toward Dadaepo Beach for two stops to Nampo Station . Follow signs for Exit 4 , which links underground to the Eungwabit Medical Building; JRYN Clinic Nampo is on the 10th floor. A taxi is also a short ride, depending on traffic.

From Yeongdo Cruise Terminal

Take a taxi from the rank outside the terminal. The ride across the harbour bridges to Nampo-dong usually takes about 15–20 minutes. When a port shuttle runs into the city, it typically stops in Nampo-dong near BIFF Square, a short walk from the clinic. Ask at the terminal information desk on the day.
